October Updates: New Features, Improvements, and #1 Spot on Product Hunt

This October was a highly productive and defining month for the Meku team. We’ve rolled out new integrations, improved core performance, and implemented several upgrades to enhance the overall building experience.

Every improvement, update, and feature release this month was driven by a single goal, to help makers, developers, and teams move from idea to live product more efficiently, faster and more reliably.

Let’s have a look what shipped in October:

Supabase Integration

One of the significant additions of October was Supabase integration. Users can now connect their Supabase projects directly from the chat page, granting instant access to real-time databases, authentication, and APIs, all without leaving Meku.

This integration transforms Meku into a fully capable AI-powered web app builder, allowing users to manage backend and frontend development in one seamless environment.

The addition of Supabase integration not only streamlines workflows but also opens doors to more complex and sophisticated web applications built directly in Meku.

Buy Extra Credits Anytime

We’ve made credit management more flexible. If you need more generation time, you can now buy additional credits instantly, without upgrading your subscription plan.

This gives you complete control over your usage and ensures your workflow isn’t interrupted.

For makers who are experimenting with frequent builds, this flexibility makes scaling much simpler.

Improved Site Generation for Paid Users

We’ve revamped the initial site generation for our users. Sites now generate faster, outputs are cleaner, and design defaults are sharper, so you get polished results right away.

This update focuses on performance and consistency, cutting unnecessary code and optimizing layouts.

The goal is simple: make building with Meku smoother, more predictable, and professional from the very first build.

TypeScript by Default

All newly generated sites in Meku are now strictly TypeScript-based. This change improves reliability, maintainability, and overall developer experience.

TypeScript provides type safety, superior tooling support, and cleaner code structures, resulting in fewer bugs and smoother experiences during editing, testing, and deployment.

For developers, this means that every Meku-generated codebase now adheres to modern development standards right from the start.

Automatic User-friendly URLs

Every new project generated in Meku now comes with clean, human-readable URLs. These URLs are automatically generated but can be customized at any time.

It’s a small but meaningful improvement that makes projects easier to share, better for SEO, and more professional in presentation.

No more confusing strings or long, random codes. Just clear, memorable links that look perfect on any platform.

This seemingly simple feature greatly improves the user experience for both developers and end-users who interact with these projects.

Attachment Upload in Chat

Meku now lets you upload images and screenshots directly within the chat. This makes it much easier for the platform to understand your ideas, layouts, or references, so the outputs are more accurate and aligned with what you envision.

Users now have a more intuitive way to communicate their vision, reducing misinterpretations and accelerating project completion.

Better Live URL & Search Support

We’ve improved how Meku processes and analyzes live URLs. When you share a website link, Meku can now fetch layout structure, design styles, and context so you can clone, take inspiration, or analyze sites directly during generation.

This update simplifies inspiration sourcing, UI pattern study, and rapid prototyping.

It enables developers to experiment, learn, and implement new designs efficiently, all while staying within the Meku workspace.

Dedicated Discord Community

We’ve officially launched Meku Discord Community for builders, developers, and users. It will help users to receive quick support, share feedback, discuss best practices, and connect with others building on Meku.

We're eager to continue this two-way collaboration.
