Project Analytics

Monitor message count and AI credit usage with Meku Project Analytics. Track prompts, credits consumed, project visibility, and development progress for each project.

Project Analytics provides insight into how a Meku project is generated and developed over time. It tracks build activity, AI usage, and configuration details for a specific project.

Unlike Traffic Analytics, which measures visitor activity, Project Analytics focuses on development activity and resource usage within the project itself.

This helps builders understand how actively a project is evolving and how AI resources are being consumed.

What Project Analytics Shows

blog image

Project Analytics provides operational metrics related to project generation and development.

You can monitor:

  • Total prompts used to generate or refine the project
  • Credits consumed during AI generation
  • Project visibility status
  • Key project configuration details

These insights help track the lifecycle of a project from its initial generation through ongoing iterations.

Core Metrics

The analytics panel displays several metrics that reflect how the project has been built and modified.

Message Count

Message count represents the total number of prompts used during project build or modification.

Each prompt may perform actions such as:

  • Creating new features
  • Refining layouts or components
  • Updating application logic
  • Rebuilding sections of the interface

Tracking message count helps estimate how much iteration and experimentation the project has undergone.

Credits Used

Credits represent the AI processing resources consumed during generation.

Credits are used when:

  • Creating new applications
  • Running builds or regenerating sections
  • Generating components or layouts
  • Processing complex prompts

Monitoring credit usage helps builders understand how resources are being consumed during development.

Project Visibility

Each project has a visibility setting that determines how it can be accessed.

Projects can be:

  • Private: Accessible only to you or members of your Workspace.
  • Public: Accessible through a shareable public link.

Visibility can be updated at any time through the project settings.

Managing Project Settings

The General Settings panel provides controls for managing the project.

From this section, you can:

  • Rename the project
  • Update visibility settings
  • Monitor credit usage
  • Review development activity

These controls help keep projects organized as they evolve.

Deleting a Project

Projects can be permanently removed if they are no longer needed.

Deleting a project will:

  • Remove the generated code
  • Delete associated analytics data
  • Free up project space in the Workspace

This action is permanent and cannot be reversed.

When to Use Project Analytics

Meku Project Analytics is useful when you need visibility into a project's development process.

Builders commonly use it to:

  • Track iteration and development progress
  • Monitor AI prompt usage
  • Manage credit consumption
  • Review how actively a project is being updated

These insights help teams better understand how projects are built and maintained inside Meku.
